So I'm working through going back to stock suspension - I installed Aldan coil-overs, but the ride wasn't for me.
So I got the front done and an quite surprised at how high the ride is. By tape it is 3.5" in the wheel well. Is this normal? I know I had a lot of gap with my old shocks, but I don't remember the gap being quite that wide. Could be though. Also, the shocks that I replaced with coil-overs were stock, so I suppose it could have sagged a bit. I haven't done the rear yet.
Thanks!

Reason: Removed reference to selling the coil over parts.

I'm not sure if it was 3.5" for me, but there was quite a bit of gap between stock wheels and fender lip before I lowered it a bit. Perhaps you're just set kinda high on the height adjustment bolts? Also, since you didn't do the back yet, and the back is still lower, then that tilt will make the front even higher. Do you have another pic of the whole side of the car, from further away? It might be easier for us to get a better perspective of that gap.

Stupid question? Have you moved, rolled or driven it yet? If you just set it on the floor after the suspension has been at full droop it's going to sit really really high. The suspension is all bound up and needs to be relax.

I agree. When I jacked up my C5 it always sat high after letting it back down until I drove it a bit. The suspension will settle a bit so it won't be so high.
And OP - if you want to sell your parts, please do so in the C5 Parts for Sale section. Thanks.
