My wife’s ‘02 coupe has 245/40-18 on the front and 285/35-19 on the rear. I’d like to go up to 295 on the rear. Do I keep 245 on the front, or will it mess up the computer? Or do I go up a size on front too? Just wondering what my options are for 18&19” wheels. Thx.
If it were me personally I would also go up a size on the tire in the front since you are upping the tire on the rear, but keeping the same tire on the front shouldn't "mess" up the computer ABS system. Unless she is driving through snow there is no reason to keep a "narrow" tire on there.
Variables such as front tire age/ tread condition, tread compound (performance vs all season) notwithstanding,
298/35-19 would be fine for your application. Please note that if you went with a 30 aspect ratio of that tire, it would look goofy because the front tire sidewall would be noticeably meatier than the rear sidewalls.

That combo should work fine, either with a 285/35 or 295/35/19 rear. However, there is a much larger selection of 285/35/19's available so the 295/35's will cost quite a bit more.
What messes up the stability control computer is the diameter. its looking for slightly larger rear diameter, Stock is +1" rear over front. Members have experienced varying levels of sensitivity on this issue. My track set up is square (all the same size) and I run in the "competitive Mode" with no computer issues.
