The car doesn't have the factory air box so I guess that's why I couldn't figure out where it went. I appreciate the help.

If you think about it, if it becomes dislodged from the airbox and falls, that's most likely where it will end up.

Those are actually fairly expensive to buy as separate units. You might list it on the parts forum and make a few bucks. Corvette Central gets $86 (PLUS SHIPPING!) for them.
