C5 Info
Hey guys. Looking to buy my first Corvette in about a year. Starting my research now.
Always had an interest in C5 Corvettes since they were new when I was younger.
Any info about these cars is valuable to me. I’m not too familiar with them. However, I heard that the “better” years are 2002-2004.

I would suggest starting with the Sticky Notes at the top of the General and Tech sections of the C5 forum at https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...s-1997-2004-2/.
You could also check to see if there are any Corvette Clubs near you. Perhaps they will let you attend a few meetings and you can discuss the pros and cons of the different year groups with members there. You can also try to hit car shows in your area and, again, seek out the C5 owners and "pick their brains."

As mentioned, read many of the applicable stickies in this section as well as in the C5 Tech section - lots of good info. Also, if you think of some questions, just post them up in a thread and you’ll receive answers from the members here. Good luck with your search - the C5 is a great car.
