If you are talking about knowing where an obstacle may be in relation to your front end (I.e., parking curb), then there is a product called Curb Alert that installs under the front fascia and will give you an audible signal in the cabin when you get close to an object. I have seen a number of vendors that sell it.
I have one connected through fuse panel. Only comes on with ignition switch on. If I recall it comes with the fuse connector. Connected to fuse box in foot well.
I tapped into the passenger's side fuse box and added a piggy back fuse to #22 on my '04 that is a switch on/off. If not already used, number 12 listed as Blank is a on/off switch power source.
You hook the Curb Alert to a switched positive wire not a constant one or the battery.
The instructions are wrong.
If you have a Double Din with 2 camera inputs you can use a front camera like the one below my laser jammer module which has a longer range and is better
