I'm searching now for a low mile version, the only problems I ever remember having was a column lock issue and a computer issue under the battery on my 98.

you seem to have enough vehicles to keep swapping off. The C5 always reliable

I guess I will be the one to rain on the C5 parade. If I was doing 160 miles round trip twice a week I would opt for a C6. Creature comforts and better interior, not to mention the seats are worlds better IMO. Disclaimer though I drive a CTS-V as a daily and my C5Z is a weekend toy.

The main thing I’d want to have a plan for though if daily driving would be for a flat tire.

I wouldn’t hesitate to use my C5 as a DD for that. Mine goes to work with me several times a week during the summer months but my commute is only 66 miles round trip.

Well I found a car with 80K miles and are suppose to purchase this weekend, hope its a reliable trouble free one. Seems to be well taken care of with lots of parts already replaced and garaged by one owner family. 1999 Black coupe with after market wheels that I'm not crazy about.
