Default Getting bored

I don't mind living in a Winter climate....I can handle the cold, even shoveling snow, but I start to get a little bored around February. Still plenty of Winter to go, but the streets are clear now and the weekend temps weren't too bad, so I got both toys out for a jaunt. Even during winter I try to get out any chance that comes along. It was a little chilly on the bike, but not bad. I did a little touch up on both afterwards and snapped a few shots.....should be single digits tonight.....

We're supposed to get 6"-10" of snow, tomorrow. I'm actually kinda looking forward to it since snowfalls of that amount here, are pretty unusual. Sure glad we're retired and won't have to get out in it.

It was 76 degrees, yesterday, and 70, now.

I've heard that Texas weather can be pretty unpredictable. Have fun with the snow, it probably won't last long....

Since it's kinda rare to have a lot of snow here, it's a good thing it won't last long. Because no one is equipped to deal with it, that much snow will almost shut down the area.
Our Winters here are pretty mild.

I got the fever too. I would love to get out one of the C5s and rip and roar but the sand/salt on the roads keep them in the warm garage. We had about 12" of snow on the ground but a lot of that melted in the past few days.

Spring seems like long time away to me.
I just finished blowing/shoveling snow for the second time today. Probably received around 15-18 inches since last night.
My new-to-me 2004 coupe was delivered to our house on January 23rd; don't think I'll be driving it until next month.

As long as you don't start busting out the spray paint cans on your car, you'll be fine.

I hope "you'all" in Texas get through the snow storm OK.
Of all the Winter climates, I may have the best since Flagstaff is in the South West. Because of our 7,000 foot elevation we get a fair amount of snow, 64" so far this Winter, but we have mostly sunny days so the streets clear off fast. Also we are in the middle of a giant Volcano field, so cinders are used instead of salt. So, once the roads are dry, the traffic cleans off the cinders and I'm good to go. Just a matter of a comfortable temperature then.
We just have to hang in there till Spring.

It was 60* F. here today... I took my Corvette out today.. it was wonderful and I had a perpetual …… thank goodness for the flat bottom steering wheel. Otherwise, I could have wound up with Peyronie's disease..

I know the feeling. It was 72* here yesterday but did not get a chance to get the car out. Now tonight and tomorrow they are calling for 4-6” of snow plus some ice. Looks like it will be a while before the car gets out again.

I feel it too
pic.s day it all
rear main
clutch
smoke test headers
Put it all back together, take it for a rip, then back in,front coming back off,and attacking body paint.
I got some scheme thoughts on paint, but I'll probably be looking 4 tips.
But I'm feeling the itch
