Default Ignition bezel light

First I would like all of the members honest feed back on this project. I will include photos of all steps except the install I have the car out and driving it. Will do the install over the weekend.
A while back there was a post a member was looking for a light for the ignition. All responses were that there is no light there. That got me thinking could a guy put one there? So I started searching the Internet for a led light ring for around it and with no avail I found nothing. So I widened my search to ignition bezel lights and found lots on flea bay. Also bought a spare stock bezel. “You know just in case I screw one up”😂. First thought was how to cut it thought razor knife then I knew better it’s abs plastic it’s hard and brittle. Plus 20 years old. Went and got the whole saw. On first test fitment the led ring fit around the mounting ring on the stock bezel perfect. So I found the right size saw and drilled it out. The next step was trickier. Trying to drill the rest of the ring for the out side diameter of it. I didn’t have an exact match for the outside diameter so there was a little bit of sanding involved. But I got it to fit really damn good I think. Please let one know if this mod is on the ricer side or if it’s ? Well let me know. Also I already know how I’m going to power it. In the picture it’s powered by a 9volt battery just to test it out. Also all my door switches and dic/hud lights are replaced with blue leds.

got it finished. It turned out awesome I think.

Yes I replaced all the lights myself. Since having my 2000 vert I’ve done a lot to it all trial and error. Thankful for this forum it has made it a lot easier.

Pretty nice work! One of those things that GM should have done.
