New wheels and tires? Very cool. Looking forward to seeing those, on the car.

I got it from Adam’s Polishes and it goes in a drill. It has many fingers and you use the drill power to spin it and it works great! I have early onset RA and my thumbs especially hurt after using brushes etc. so this works great. Add the ceramic coating before or after mounting tires and then with some regular car shampoo or very mild wheel cleaner (if any at all), water, and a turbo stick....wheel cleaning is very quick. Grab up a fingered microfiber wheel glove and you can really get em clean quick.

I went with a brushed & powdercoated finish on my CCW's for two reasons. One was the obvious, to set them off from the masses of black or polished wheels out there. Second reason and just as important, I wanted an easier-to-clean finish. At 66yrs old, my back just doesn't allow me to spend long periods of time, bent over, cleaning and polishing stuff. It's hell getting old but the alternative is worse.

that’s about right on price. You’d be hard-pressed to find another C5 with Forgelines just like yours. With Forgeline you can custom order the lip finish the center section finish and in any style you choose I highly recommend Forgeline wheels.

Thanks for all the comments. Getting more then I thought I'd get. Some very cool & reasonable maintenance suggestions here to think about.

Great decision on the powder coated brushed finish. Your wheels look absolutely incredible! Mine were used, as-is with a fair amount of refurbishing needed. If I ever buy a new set, I’ll definitely follow your example.

^^^Yeah I agree on that.^^^ I love that brushed powder coat touch. Maybe I’ll just have that done to mine to be a little different that way.

The Crays will look good on your car. The only thing that would concern me is the potential increased cleaning time required for all those spokes.

That’s my concern also, lol. The real reason I’m holding off right now with my decision. As I get older the less I want to clean.

I’m SO GLAD it’s that one! I know Adam and his products are great, always the latest technology.
I have a ‘series’ of microfiber ‘mops’ that are sold at HD for dusting. They hold a ton of liquid and are very gentle to any surface. I also have a couple of natural fiber “bottle brushes” that I use for more stubborn dirt but they also don’t cause any scratching.

I agree with Jack about the spokes. In addition to the poor quality of the C7Z06 repros, the number and tightness of the spokes became too much to deal with and since I was actively showing the car at the time, the only way I could clean the barrels properly was to remove each wheel. The 14 spokes on my Nurburgrings are as far as I will go with spoke count, since I can still get my hand and brushes inside to do the barrels well.

After viewing the Interlagos pictured above, I think I would go with them now.

lastly, the CCW’s are spectacular.

OP if you are interested in the Interlagos, DOC had 3 sets he said so after my order it would in theory leave 2.

Given this a lot of thought the last few days and I've decided to leave as is for now and concentrate on an updated engine cover I've been wanting for a very long time. I'll post up with that project when it gets done in a month or 2. Thanks for all the comments and suggestions.
