I have always liked the tops from the Robbins company, but my first choice would be OEM, which looks exactly like the Robbins top, from the pictures. I once bought a top from sears that was a Robbins top, so their buyer must have agreed with me, long ago. I went with sears because they had a color that went well with baby blue, and swore never to install another top as long as I live.
My plan with the vette is to stay with factory black, and to select from install shops recommended from the Robbins company, or perhaps to call around to high end builders for a good installer, no matter which supplier of the top. I learned the hard way, it is not the cost of the work , but rather the skill of the worker, that is the primary concern on cosmetic work..
