Joseph....Yea, we all have different tolerances. I moved from So Cal about 30 years ago. It was a big change, but I don't mind the Winters that much. My Dog loves the snow.....as you can see. 87 degrees would be a major heat wave here....but the humidity is what would kill me there. Sounds like it's perfect for you....

Over the years I have run thru Flagstaff in
the winter and have vacation there in the
summer. It was a adjustment moving to Fla
but after 25 years living here, if it gets to 60
degrees I am cold. In my travels I have run
in minus 40 degrees and have gone home and let
the truck run for a week for fear of it not starting.
I know cold weather and snow.
Enjoy
I grew up outside of Chi-town so I know snow, I sort of love it, it's a nature thing.
On my birhtday some years ago I was running
thru a blizzard and I stopped at a truckstop in the
evening. I jumped out of the truck into a hole of ice
snow and water. I had cold ,wet feet.
I did not like snow or nature that day

We moved from NC to Flag and then back to NC. I was never bothered by the winters there.
I do remember a pretty good snow in late January, 2010. It started snowing Sunday evening and when it finished snowing Friday afternoon, we had just under 5' accumulation. We had a few roofs cave in from that one since there was already snow on the roofs. And the Navajo Nation and Hopi Reservation were especially hard hit. Even with all that, I still had over 1/2 of my 450 employees that still made it to work the whole week and many who did not come in lived where roads were closed.
I remember being out on Saturday and saw a guy with a snow blower on his roof!! You don't want to arm wrestle him if he can haul a 250-300# snow blower onto his roof.
But after the snows each year Freddies and Galaxy both generate some nice car get togethers!

LOL that is some real dedication!

Hey Larry......I dug up some photos from the 2010 Winter. The ground is flat under the snow in the pictures and the lights buried in the night shot are 3 feet tall.....remember, this is Arizona.....
By the way, the Galaxy is closed, and the car clubs had a falling out with Freddy's, so we will be trying something new this Summer......but who knows what will happen next????
