Picked this up last week from www.gscreations.com. I think it's the best C5R replica out there.
Feels awesome and threads right on to the MGW flat stick. I can already tell that 2-3 shifts and 4-5 shifts are gonna be awesome.
I'd be curious how you use it with normal street driving. Whether you grab it on the sides or palm it on top sometimes after you have had it for a while???
Looks interesting - reminds me of the MGW race handle including their **** I implemented - more vertical hand engagement (not necessarily from the top).

I'm curious as well. I haven't been out with it yet. Im a huge fan of ball ***** but wanted to see how this was.
You can get the same one off ebay for 45 shipped(39.99 plus 5 shipping). I believe I paid 30 though back a few months after I got the car in early 2018. Perfect shift **** for these cars. Mine's paired with a 427x shifter from TPS and it's exactly what I wanted feel wise.
I ran one for a few months thinking it would be great too, but after realizing it's really not ideal/comfortable for street driving, I swapped it out for an MGW gripper **** and it's so much better all around. Got rid of the annoying buzzing too.
I had a "C5R" **** from Hardbar in my previous car. Simple and comfortable. My current car uses a different ****, but I still grasp it in the same manner---from the sides. I never found grasping a shift **** from the top side to be comfortable when street driving, nor efficient when racing.
Agree with fyrarms. I spent a lot of time watching in-car racing videos, in particular rally cars and they all used a bar type. Considering the number of times I saw them shift per minute, it made a lot of sense to me. I also think it works to advantage with the MGW because the return to center force is so reliable
Delrin IS very comfortable. Even more so is Hytrel, feels like soft suede. Only trouble is it does get dirty eventually from your hands and it doesn’t thread well.
I have a really nice 14 ounce steel ball that is great for shifting but it’s too cold in winter and too hot in summer as well.
That is what I love about my current shift ****. 16oz weighted stainless core wrapped in Delrin. Combined with the MGW shifter, this thing is smooth as can be.
