Welcome to the Corvette forum.... You have a unique car there.. Its your car and you have to like it... as far as cheap headers... keep this I mind.. " I can not afford to buy anything too cheap. it usually cost more in the long run. eBay headers are a nigh mare to install,and you are not sure how or if its going to fit... do the research before you buy anything for your C5... lots of knowledgeable people here.. and anything you can think of doing, some one here has already done it.

Cheap headers will be a big mistake. Best headers for a C5 are Kooks or ARH. Kooks will be the easiest to install. Make sure to have them ceramic coated and make sure to protect all wires, connectors and brake lines near the headers. Cheap headers will cost you a lot more than the highest price top brand headers I suggested.
