Hey everyone, new to the forum and so far I love it. Just got my first C5 last month and I’ve wanted one since I was a boy and I’m loving it! Mine is pretty custom and the wing might only appeal to some people. Honestly I wanna do one of those nascar style lips instead of this giant carbon fiber wing, but it’s on there for now haha. Anyways if anyone has a lead on some cheap headers and a boost gauge let me know! Also how does everyone feel about the 150$ headers on eBay?? They look decent at least, inform me and learn me while we are all stuck at idle during this time anyway. I’ll post a picture of the car. Thank you for your time and everyone have a good day.
Welcome. A lot of people won't like
the way your car is set up...I do!
Ditch ebay headers esp if you are
installing. You will find most cheap
headers all most impossiable to install.
Remember most aftermarket parts for
your car are not OEM. The better quality and more
expensive aftermarket parts , you will have
less time and expense installing. There are good
used parts for sale , on the forum.
Good luck
Welcome to the Corvette forum.... You have a unique car there.. Its your car and you have to like it... as far as cheap headers... keep this I mind.. " I can not afford to buy anything too cheap. it usually cost more in the long run. eBay headers are a nigh mare to install, and you are not sure how or if its going to fit... do the research before you buy anything for your C5... lots of knowledgeable people here.. and anything you can think of doing, some one here has already done it.

Welcome to the forum!! Love the wide-body look and front splitter. Looks like an ACS composite or Blackdog Racing. Do you know the origin of that splitter?
Are you planning on painting or wrapping to finalize the custom look?
With all those mods I'm surprised there's not headers already on it. Should be a fun car....a head turner for sure.
yeah sadly bone stock exhaust and a stock clutch. Has a procharger dyno tuned to 430 to the wheel, so the clutch is gonna be necessary pretty soon. 78k miles and 1k on the blower

Wheels look great on that body. Very well done.
so it already has that nardo grey wrap, it’s not very good hand done. I’m gonna get it redone professionally. The car was originally magnetic red. Any ideas for a new color? I’m sure I’ll end up making a new thread for that but I wanna stay unique and do something different for the color, what do you think ?
Very unique car. The body kit looks good on it. As for the new color, if you like orange then maybe something in that. Not many C5's in orange. The color will ultimately be up to you though as you'll be the one living with it everyday.

I'm fan of Electron Blue as well. A nice [hunter] green might be neat also.

Don't recall seeing a car with that body kit before - sure to get noticed anywhere you go. I would agree on not going too cheap on mods to the car - in many cases you do get what you pay for. Welcome and hope you enjoy what the forum has to offer.
