I just heard some talk that there is less headroom in the 03 Z06 than the 02 model. Can anyone verify?

Actually, the ridge of the headliner behind the driver's seat does appear to be fractionally lower, perhaps an inch or so, and maybe slightly wider. I didn't measure. However, it's so far back toward the rear window that I don't know whether it really comes into play or not. The center portion of the cabin seems to be either the same or very nearly so. The warts are a given.
Sometimes the seats may not collapse downward fully, though, and that can make headroom scare in even the older Z's.

Well, if that's the case....I am stuck with an '02, '01 forever....
I barely can keep from spinal compression NOW with a helmet on.....
I think they just added more padding......anyone else heard that scenario?? :confused:

I know the 03 Z06 has a large 2-3" bump behind the head rest that is not on an '00 hardtop. I can't fix in the Z06 for this reason. It would never work with a helmet and if I ever got rearended it would take the top of my head off. :nonod:
