I did a TICK master at the same time, but found that when the fluid gets nasty (about ever 6 months), even the TICK master doesn't prevent the problem. As soon as I change fluid (it's a 5 min job now), the pedal comes back to flawless use.
I had a remote bleeder put in with the new clutch, but haven't had to use it. So far the new setup has done about 8 hours of track time (around 5 high-rpm shifts per minute) without a glitch.
Best thing I've done to mine was the cam swap. Completely changed the car - and it was fun as it was before. But I think my favorite mod is the GHL exhaust - it sounds different than almost any other C5 I know because they just aren't around anymore.
Thanks everyone for the responses. Yes, it’s hard to pick one or even two, maybe I should have given more parameters like “what would be the first thing you would do?”, as that question seems to pop up a lot on the board. What I really found interesting is a lot of the favorites on here are listed as “hated” in the other thread... go figure 🤔
A company that's no longer in business. They pop up for sale on here from time to time and go for big bucks. The previous owner of my car went with the GHL instead of a Corsa because it cleared the trailer hitch better.
Actually, you know what, scratch that - my favorite mod is the trailer hitch because it triggers all the purists.
which wheels did ya go with. Didnt catch that post.
Hey, sorry you missed it. I went with the SR1 Apex wheels in the 18X9 front and 19X10 rear. I've actually been debating on selling them because I have a few Vettes here in AZ that have them also. I like to be a little different but I still do have them on the car.

I haven’t done many mods but my favorite I would say I finally got done this week was installing a New Kenwood Double Din Head Unit in the dash of my ‘99 Coupe with CarPlay. I have been wanting to do this since sometime in 2017. Had everything I needed to do the job last June of 2019 and finally found the time I needed during this Covid 19 Epidemic like many others found time to do different things on their to do list.
SP510's are actually on my short list, TSW's really aren't to my taste though. Still working on a couple other projects at the moment so when those are done I'll look into another set of wheels. Debating on going with chrome, like I've always had, or a polished wheel like the SP510's. I'll have to learn how to take care of polished wheels as I've never had a set, that part intimidates me.

Thanks, it's one of my favorite pictures. The purple LED's really show up in it. Not very functional but make it look good. LOL...

If and when you get them, have them Ceramic Coated and all will be good to go.

For as much money as you have spent on wheels, you should just bite the bullet and get a set of Forgelines. Guarantee you won't see a set on a C5 very often, if rarely.
My next wheels will be Forgelines.
I haven't really spent that much, YET...my 1st set was way back about 10 years ago. The reason I went with the ones I have now is the tire selection is better with upsized wheels. These didn't really cost me all that much either because I know a guy, who knows a guy, who has a friend's cousin that said someone could get them for me at a reasonable cost. My next wheels probably won't happen until next year sometime if at all. We shall see. You make a good point though.
