I’ve seen a lot of people ask about the halltech tunnel ram. I contacted Halltech they do still make this in both Carbon Fiber and Fiberglass. It isn’t cheap eBay stuff but quality work normally isn’t. I also wanted to mention that as of today they are considering beginning to make the Stinger hood again which is on my very short list of aftermarket hoods that I would use. If you have ever considered one of these hoods now is the time to express interest. We may be able to drive this market just a bit for some quality parts. This isn’t any type of plug for the business itself it’s more about added aftermarket options for our cars. Picture added for clarity on the parts I’ve described

Yeah I’m with you, the flat cheap ones on eBay just don’t look right, mine arrives tomorrow going to get it wrapped in body color should be great comes with ZO6 screen installed or separate depending on choice. I’m more excited about that Stinger hood that is a functional heat extracting hood and it saves the original body lines of the stock hood.

Count me in for a tunnel plate if they offered a group buy. I spoke with them a while back as well and the price for these have doubled from what they use to sell for. Jim also said that at the moment he wasn’t including the screen for the plate. Not sure if something changed now.

Im not sure what they cost before but they are about 300.00 for fiberglass and a bit more for CF. They all come with the screen either installed or loose depending on preference. I know they aren’t cheap but there isn’t much on these cars that is. I just hated the 100.00 eBay specials in my opinion they just looked awful. I’ve wanted this tunnel port since my blower went in so I pulled the trigger and got it. I would have preferred they were 100.00 bucks cheaper lol But in the end since it’s so prominent on the car I wanted what I wanted

Well it seems they updated the website. The basic plate is $300 add $20 if you want a screen pre-installed, and add $150 if you want carbon fiber. Out the door I'd be looking at $470 for a carbon fiber one, honestly I know things aren't cheap but this is overpiced IMO. Like I said if we can get a group buy going to maybe make a discount incentive to purchase one i'd be in.

I agree with you, I had a hard time pulling that trigger but the options were really limited unless I just wanted to do a homemade, I just preferred the tunnel port look. I’m afraid of what that stinger hood may cost if they start building them again. But I sure do like it, that hood kinda screams I mean business lol

That hood looks like an ACP Stinger.
