I have a 2000 C5 coupe with some bolt on mods (corsa full length headers with xpipe and corsa extreme full exhaust, cats removed, COW tune, vortex airbox, thats about it but it sounds amazing). I don't autocross or take it to the drag strip. I drive it occasionally but it is not an everyday driver. When I do drive it, I am driving with a heavy foot and a big grin. I'm tossing around the idea of getting a set of coilovers. Currently I'm on lowered bolts on the factory setup and have the lowered look but the ride is horrendous on most roads. Rides like a horse and buggy. I was hoping a good set of coilovers would achieve both the lowered look and a good quality ride. I can't make my mind up on which coilovers to get. Started out looking at Aldans (saw quite of few people have some complaints) then on to BC racing (couldn't find many recommendations for them) and now looking at the Silver's Neomax. Budget is around $1,500. What do you all suggest and where would you suggest I get them from?
I have a 2003 Z06 with a naturally aspirated LS7 with all the goodies, including Corsa extreme exhaust. The coilovers are Pfadt Featherlight Inverted Adj Coilovers. They are corner balanced. I also have the T1 sway bars and LG quiet end links. Love the handling in my Z. Good luck with whatever you end up doing.
LG and QA1 are recommended quite a bit around here. Id call BCRacing they have done some C5s. I have seen more good than bad on the Aldans and the Silvers have just started getting talked about.
Just did a quick google search and Coilover depot have the BC BR series for less than $1,000 right now.

If you're not tracking the car and are mainly just looking for a better ride and handling on the road, you may want to consider just getting a good set of shocks.
Good shocks will do more than a cheaper set of coilovers.
I don't have coilovers on my Vette but I have had both average and high end coilovers on past cars and the difference is black and white as far as handling an comfort.
High end shocks/coilovers valved properly can achieve both better handling and ride.
If you're happy with your ride height then shocks might be the best answer for your goals.
I've had Stance coilovers on my car for 6 years now with out any problems at all. The car's used for autox and hillclimb with a little street driving. I have to agree with Boeuf about not running coilovers on the street. If I was not racing it I would not be running them i would be running good shocks and a little stiffer away bars.
Ridetech HQs have been great for me. The car has both good manners and impressive handling. Yet, not in your price range.
Check out Silvers. Not sure if he's an approved vendor here, but Brian Rosenberg of FI Performance which you can readily find on C5 Modified FB forum is moving them left and right.

Yep, Brian seems to have lots of satisfied customers.
I'm a big Ridetech fan, also. Had their stuff on my 70 El Camino restomod and was very pleased with it.
how is the set up. Looking at the same thing? Silvers with swift springs 12k10k
I just bought some Viking berserker dbl adj for $1800.
The single adjustable is less. Their entry single adj is around the same price as the silvers neo

Who did you order from? Vikings would be my next option if i didnt already have some.
I went to Bilstein B8 on lowered stock and the ride characteristics improved significantly but still has terrible side effects.
Overall ride is much better and firmly controlled but It still can bottom out hard and oppositely almost lift you out of the seat over a sharp rise. Not sure spending money on composite leaf’s would compensate but I also can’t speak about a decent Coilover either.
There is a benefit from replacing control arm bushings with Poly or new oe whichever way you choose

I personally had very bad experience with the PFADT all material, especially since they came back under a big company...
Too dangerous for me to install suspension component that did put my security at risk.
The old PFADT Company I did pretty well with, long ago.
