Default Le Mans Drivers side Mirror

Hi
I am looking for where to get the mirror for the 2004 Le Mans Commemorative addition. it is both heated and light sensitive. I cannot find a replacement glass for it. I called the local dealer at they told me it was $450+ for just the glass. I wend to GM Parts online and put in my vin and it gave me this number GM 12530715 and its only $89 how can there be such a price difference. I have a feeling the $89 one is for the standard C5 heated mirror only. there is this number listed 10416321 but it shows the whole assembly not just the glass and its $600. so confusing.! Any help would be appreciated.

I have the 2004 LeMans Commemorative Edition as well... did you ever get the OEM mirror? I have a similar issue where I don't need the mirror housing, just need the glass and of course like you mentioned it is both heated and light sensitive...I guess it has some kind of liquid inside it. It sounds like the same mirror is also used on the Chev SSR

I found what appears to be the OEM equivalent at a few sites in the $90 range but I am skeptical if they are selling the same part. Based on my VIN the OEM mirror only part # is 12455610 so I called a couple dealers and was quoted $400 - $580 but at a few of the GM parts sites I am seeing it for $272 - $300

even though some of the web sites show the part #12455610 when you use their tool to identify if it fits or not a lot of them say it doesn't so that is confusing because the prices of the part vary from $272 - $300 as I mentioned...

Mirror Glass - GM (12455610) $272 but says its not a fit

GM 12455610 Mirror,Outside Rear View (Reflector Glass & Backing Plate) $285 and says its a fit

even if it does fit, $285 is crazy for the part but it is what it is I guess... I'm going to put a mirror on that sticks on with adhesive for now until I decide
