Not sure when you last saw a policy from NCM but there are no restrictions on when/how you drive except: Not to be driven to work, must be stored in a locked garage and not to exceed my annual amount of 6k miles. No where does my policy restrict anything else. Maybe they changed since you looked last but this has been the way mine reads for the last 2 years of having it.

Now I got a claim and wish Id gone somewhere else (and will!). Insurance isnt worth a damn if they just deny claims, really? Hagery rep recommended Allstate. Rather pay more and not have hassles.
Before you consider Allstate you better check their ratings for customer.satisfaction, paying claims etc. Last time I looked they were way, way down in those departments. I got rid of them many years ago.

Any and every company have both good and bad things said about them and some people even leave for the stupidest reasons but whatever.

Anyways FWIW you could save yourself 15% or by switching to geico. Least that's what the commercial says.

Just to be clear, they have a drive to work two days a week plan as well. I have it.

That being said I might drive my Vette to work less than 15 times a year.

I think their "limitations" do not really limit my uses at all. and I am by no means a show goer which as you know is how a lot of people perceive NCM.

I used Grundy for 12 years. They were reasonable for a while but then they began raising the rate around $50 a year which is a sorry gimmick that most insurance companies use. State Farm was also notorious for this but raised the rate $30-$40 every 6 months. I was paying around $385 with Grundy for an agreed value of $18,000 on my C5 after lowering the value many times and payng over $400 a year. I got tired of chaniging the agreed value to save a few dollars so I went with NCM as per the recommendation of this forum. I have 2 Corvettes (2019 and 2004) insured with NCM at $318 a year. I went with the lowest mileage of 1,000 miles because I don't drive the cars much. You can adjust the mileage with them at any time which is nice to know. Overall, I was impressed with the customer service of NCM and the ease of transistion to their insurance company and I would highly recommend them

545.00 yr. For 17GS and 03 Z06, 3000K miles per yr with role over miles 0 deductible. Told them how I used my cars and it is covered. Only claim he said that was ever denied was a guy on a track accident. Pleased so far.

How do you guys get NCM rates so cheap?
I'm paying $1442 a year for three cars; my 02 Corvette, my red 99 Corvette, and my 1991 Eagle Talon TsiAWD. My mileage for each is at 3000 mile max mark. Hell, I haven't driven any of them yet this year.
I have my black 99 Corvette and my two Expeditions covered by State Farm. State Farm has treated me well during claims. I have NEVER caused an accident.

I built a plan with the NCM online calculator. Put in all the coverages we wanted, agreed value, and the 2 days a week drive to work plan and fired it off to them. Finalized the paperwork after sending them pictures of the car and it was a done deal.

I think we're paying around 44 dollars per month with above average coverages and 20k agreed value.

I dumped Hagerty and went back to Grundy. Cut my premium in half. Only difference is I won't have get the crapy Hagerty magazine that's mostly about imports anyway.

No contact has been made with the OP. We have searched and searched out database, and unable to identify who it is.

We would love to work with this insured to figure out what caused this increase, but no response with my office. OP, please give us a call at 877.678.7626.

Thank you!

OP's profile page shows no activity since 5 days ago. OP has been a member here for 16 years, I'm kinda doubting he is a troll.

I am going to reach out to the OP and ask that he get in touch with Adam at the NCM to get this sorted out. Meanwhile, since the OP has not participated in the thread other than the initial post, I am closing the thread. If either the OP or the NCM Insurance Agency have updates to add, I will be glad to reopen the thread if they contact me.

Hi Guys,

Thanks for all the great input. Except for the troll comment............16 years on the board, I'm listed as a lifetime member and you call me out as a troll? Genius move.

My original post 7/09/2020 was the day before I started a west coast to east coast RV trip. After driving 8-10 hours a day, the last thing on my mind was logging into the corvette forum. For some reason I didn't recieve any email notifications about activity in this thread, so special thanks to Vetteman Jack for the the PM.

Bottom line, I brought the file with me and was going to try and call NCM insurance again while we were on the road. It's a good thing Adam posted his number in this thread because apparently I have been calling the carrier and not Adam's office. I just used the number listed on my policy which again is the carrier and not Adam.

I spoke with Adam this morning, he had it cleared up in about 2 minutes. Thanks Adam, You're awesome to deal with. I will recommend you highly in the future.

The problem was the carrier supposedly includes with the policy an exclusion letter regarding other memebers of my household. They need it filled out and returned. I never received it, so they decided they would automatically add my 21 year old daughter to the car. Funny thng is she hasn't lived at home for the 4 years she has been on the east coast in college. That addition took the policy from $400 to $1200 per year. Something Adam corrected in a heart beat.

Thanks again for all the input. Safe travels to everyone.

WOW!!! I don't know where you live or your driving record but $400 on 20K is still high to me.
