'98 C5 broken antenna
Hi guys,
Is there an easy way to remove broken pieces of the automatic antenna thread? I found a lot of information on how to thread a new one, or replace the whole thing, but nothing on how to remove broken pieces. Thanks in advance.

My only experience with a broken antenna mast wasn't with a corvette, and I didn't know any better than to just feed the replacement geared mast bottom thing in, and it worked without any problems. It was just a few teeth that had stripped away from the plastic ribbon, so probably didn't cramp the workings. I didn't know enough to consider it might be a good idea to fish out any broken parts, and was lucky that it was only a few broken teeth, not requiring a lot of space.
