Default Muffler Delete

I have a Bone Stock 98 and I'm considering deleting the mufflers. Are there any premade off the shelf Muffler Delete Pipes?

If not available, what did you do to delete your mufflers.

Thanks :-)

Install cutouts. Open them up for no mufflers and close them when you want it quieter.

Find yourself a set of tips that you like and that are the right diameter - preferably something substantial, not just a little metal shell. Take a set of stock mufflers (or get someone's throwaways) and cut the pipe just before the 90 degree bend of the pipe (that then runs transversely and into the muffler itself). You should now have a piece of exhaust pipe that goes over the axle and then points straight back. Go to a muffler shop and have them weld a straight piece of pipe (depending on the tips you get it will only be somewhere between 12" and 18" long) in between and connecting your over-the-axle pipe and your muffler tips. Then weld a bit of solid rod (bending as necessary) to this and use a universal hanger (attached to your sway bar bolt) to support it. It will come out looking like the setup in the Amazon link pifo provided you (but at considerably less cost). Be aware that you will get drone; depending on your rpm it can be pretty annoying.

Or spend money and buy the SLP Loudmouth axle back system. It's a "looks nice" no muffler exhaust.
