I have an axle back magniflow set up, came with the used car when I bought it. Quality is first rate, as is customer service, in a very demanding market, no corrosion on an old part that has never been more than washed. It's louder than stock, but not objectionable . My neighbor lady says I have a race car, but it is far from look at me loud, or questionable with the law in any way. Mario Andretti pitched the thing as worth buying because of the "right" sound, and, I would suppose , a reasonable check. more gentleman sound than Ricky racer, you can take it to nice places,
All I know about the thing, beyond what I have stated , and the advertising claims, is that the part was selected by a well respected local corvette shop to be on the shop car entered in local motocross events that allow for only very limited modifications. My previous owner bought it out of the back of the shop before it went racing, at least that's what the honest man told me. I think the shop went convertible because of the lower gearing, which must be factory stock .
