Will adding side skirts cause issues/challenges when lifting the vehicle? Thinking of adding, but concerned that when i need to lift the vehicle they could be in the way or be damaged. thanks for any input

I have never had a problem lifting my vettte with skirts.
Good luck
If your car is lowered at all then I'd have to say yes, you'll have issues getting the jack under the side of the car. But that depends on how thick the skirts are also. I would love to have the skirts and I actually bought a set once. I mocked them up to the car and I couldn't get the jack under it. So I sold them, never to be installed. To me it's about ease of work too.

I am 4 inch's off the ground, lowered. I guess it depends on the jack,
if you have problems. I run a aluminum jack that is 3 3/4 in high.
..............OP .
Good luck

Side skirts isn't much of an issue at all unless your car is lowered. Depending on how low that is, will determine whether or not you can get a jack underneath it. It's when you have a lowered car with a chin spoiler that things can get complicated if you don't know what your doing. Personally, the way I do it is start jacking the car up from the rear, then put the lift arms under both sides, and then lower the rear jack down and you should be set if you put the arms in the right spots, and this is where jacking pucks are worth their weight in gold. You know the lift arms are in the right spot....Upon completion, jack up the rear again and remove the arms from the sides, and lower your car onto it's own tires. After enough times, you'll feel like a pro at it. Good luck!!
Just an FYI if your car is lowered with a chin spoiler. Jacking procedure is the same but, I can't stress enough that you keep a close eye on the front of your car when jacking it up. It's better to have a second set of eyes watching the front because mine is touching the floor when I have it in position to put the arms underneath the sides.

Yeah I’m lowered as well but haven’t measured it. I have the low profile jack from HF and it lacked about a half inch with the skirts mocked up. I didn’t want the frustration.

Lowered cars do present problems with using a floor jack. If the car is at stock height, you should be able to install the side skirts and still use a longer reach floor jack to lift the car. As always, use of jacking pucks help keep the jack from coming in contact with the rocker panels and side skirts.
My car is lowered albeit not all the way with side skirts. I do have a HF low profile jack that barely fits underneath.
For price of mind and clearance I have a couple of 2x12s, 2-3 feet long with a 45 degree angle cut , sort of a mini ramp. Just drive up and no clearance problem.
