Tpms

Can anyone direct me to the correct TPMS sensors for my 2001 hatch? I’ve got a new set of Cray wheels arriving on Wed and the tires should be here shortly after. I just want to take everything and have them mounted up at the tire shop.
Also, does the relearn work with the magnet? I watched a couple videos and it seemed pretty simple.

I recently bought mine from Rock auto. They were less than a year old and learned perfectly. I learned them with a magnet prior to going to the tire store to make sure they were good.

Yours are Schrader 20117 - as were mine

I did rock auto as well and tire shop probably has the tool to learn them as well but I did the magnet.

Relearn works great as long as it's a strong magnet.

Thanks for all the help guys. Just ordered 4 of the schrader 20117 sensors from RockAuto. They were about half the price of the same ones on Amazon.

I ordered a pair of magnets off Amazon. I read the reviews and there were a couple from C5 owners saying it worked. We’ll see how it goes.

The magnet I use to do my TPMS when I swap wheels around is a simple speaker magnet pifered from a 6.5" midrange. It's heavy, and I wrapped it in electrical tape, and was free. lol

I couldn't get my new sensors to activate by only using a magnet. It would seem that they are "deactivated" to keep them from transmitting while they are sitting on the shelf. This tool sends out a signal to the sensor to tell it to start broadcasting. Once I used this, the normal magnet routine worked fine. Use this on each wheel with the new sensor before you use the magnet. It's an easy $10.
