I had a bit of tuning done on my car. The other day, I hit the gas and was thrown back in my seat. Turned out the rear seat flange broke. This appears to be a not uncommon problem. I watched a video on installing an upgraded flange kit. I am unmotivated to attempt this. Driver's side seat brackets seem to be difficult to come by. I have seen where C6 sets have been installed in C5s with a harness adapter. Do the C6 seat brackets bolt right into C5?
Yes they do - I just did it on my C5Z. C6 seats in C5Z
You need to swap seat belt assemblies - but that is not hard. You will have to cut off one bolt on the C6 seat frame - where it's seat belt assembly is - but other than that it drops right in.
Get the wiring adapter from vetteworks. Power seat functions will work, memory position will not.

What do you mean swap seat belt assemblies? I'm still using the C5 seat belt with C6 seats in place. I just swapped the C5 receivers on to the C6 seats.
Agreed on the Vetteworks adapters though. Call Dan and tell him what your plans are, He can make pretty much everything work except for memory as long as the car and seats have the options. I've got power and lumbar. Chose not to worry about heat because it requires a remote switch and I live in SoCal
Ended up buying a used factory set from VetteVillains. My passenger side is good so I'll probably sell my driver's seat with the broken flange and the "new" passenger seat as a set for whatever.
