I found it to be An awesome read.
Goes through how the Corvette almost didn’t make it and the people who covertly kept it alive, the styling aspects discussed are huge, the engineering and the general GM crap of those days.
I had spent 17 years of my career in body engineering and working with styling and full size clay models and products development combined with my parents and extended family all worked for GM the. Sprinkle in the development advancements in this car and the book had me hooked.
Interestingly a mid engine design was evaluated way back when the C5 was being defined….. took it till C8 to be reality.
