I really enjoy looking at the car. The view from back to front is the best. The C5 is a work of art.

I’ve always liked the rear quarter view.

there are certain viewing angles for the c5 that really make it look the best. Angles that accentuate the low front and big a$$. It always reminds me of that early rap song (sir mixalot?) I like big butts, and i cannot lie !

Looks better without the wagon wheels. Maybe I need to change my avatar.

I think about that every time I see a good deal on a C6. I know the C6 will be faster, but I keep thinking that I will miss the C5 styling.

personally...
c5 was an instant thumbs up design the moment i saw it. that and late model viper gts just share the same theme of curves and soft edges flowing into seamless design. i got a '99 'vert first then traded up to an '04 Z.
c6 never quite warmed up to it but the zr1 and z06 widebody's i like more, other than some of the tacky add-on items.
c7 goes full on transformer cartoon school of design, just so darned busy looking and i can't get over the tacked on factory jc whitney-style accessory look. esp the z06 spoiler.
c8 just saw in person for the first time the other day and got to spend 15 min or so checking it out, and it's pretty impressive.

of course mechanically and esp. interior getting better with each generation, and a "better" car all around.

regardless, they're all corvettes and they're all great. given the choice between vette vs. anything else, i would gladly own any generation (other than mid-late 70's and early 80's). it's america's sports car!
