Default Replacement seats for my 50th

I can't take long runs in this car without my back killing me!!! I need something way more comfortable with some lumbar support, It's not that these seats are worn out, only 10K miles on the car and 6K of those miles were put on by me, It's not an everyday driver but I do like to make long trips with it. Maybe I'm just spoiled with the seats in my 2020 F-150 Limited, I could travel across country in this truck without a problem. I was looking at the Recaro speed V seats, they say on their site that they are comfortable for every day driving but I don't think they would look very good in my 50th, but looks aren't everything, I was also thinking I might be able to send the drivers seat somewhere to have it customized for comfort while still retaining the color and look of the original seats.
Has anyone changed out the seats in their C5? any recommendations please! !!

My C7 seats are comfortable, at least to me. Consider a set of them for your C5.

If you do end up getting new seats and are no longer wanting to keep yours let me know. I’m looking for a low mileage pair.

Is your 50th an AE or 50th w/o the AE. I have a terrible back and my AE is the only car/truck I can drive for 3+ hrs without stopping. Last trip, drove 9hrs and felt great. If AE spend some time and fine tune the seat. JMO. Good luck, bad backs suck.

Wow that is a massive improvement. I should have done this instead of reupholstering the c5 seats for the 2nd time.

c7 seats are ~10 hour seat... I did 14 hours in my C7 a month ago and after the 10 hour mark I was ready to get out of the car... but up to the 10 hour mark, was very comfortable... And those were 1LZ seats without the lumbar and all the other stuff.

Given the mileage of the car, maybe check that the spacers of the shock absorber have been taken off?
there are some post on this purpose.
