Perspective please on preparing my C5 2003 convertible for winter storage......is it safe to tricklie charge via the cigarette lighter while a Damprid packet resides in the trunk?
Same here.
I have the Ctek 3300 and been doing it that way for the past 5 years. No issues. (Knock wood).
Just make sure the cigarette lighter socket is energized all the time. When I got my ‘99 three years ago the socket was energized only when the ignition was on. I don’t know if it came from the factory that way or a previous owner rewired it.

One thing that is a good idea is elevating the car off the tires. I've always done this, so I can't say it will definitely flat spot the tires if you don't do it, but I can say it certainly can't hurt the tires. If you haven't already purchased a decent floor jack, now would be a good time. Ask Santa for one!!🎅🎅🌲
