Twisted works well, looks good. Their lock nut is a fair size hex — the Hurst nut works better. Why bother with the shift pattern? Just having a clutch will already confuse 99% of the two peddle public.

Several years ago I bought and installed a MGW flat stick-short throw shifter. I choose the white ball with the shift pattern.
Best mod I ever did and MGW was recommended by other forum members. I do not know if they sell just the ****.

Hmm, looks like Hurst gave up on us. I have a Hurst cueball black shift **** with no "Hurst" or other markings, that I bought some years back. Not made without the "Hurst" labelling anymore apparently. When I bought it, they definitely had a white version as well.

I have both a twistedshifterz and a speeddawg - there is a significant improvement in quality with the speeddaw - the phenolic material seems to be a much higher quality and is heavier. Just an FYI.
