I have done a search on here and googled it. I was wondering if anyone has customized the hatch area of their vette. If you have pictures that would be great. My carpet is kinda sad looking and was either just going to put it back to stock or modify it in some way. Thanks for looking and posting if you have pics.
Coupe, yes? Interesting question. What kind of modification were you contemplating? I have seen a couple of dividers and package tray offerings, but they haven't seemed all that beneficial, particularly relative to the costs I've seen. I've been thinking along the lines of a tray near the passenger compartment, primarily to hold down back wall carpet the seems to continuously creep. Assuming you want to keep the compartment hatches accessible?
Haven't seen it in a C5, but have seen people trace the carpets out of their trunk onto laminate locking flooring and make custom wood floors that way. Would be (no pun intended) different. Just not sure what you'd do about the cubby holes or their covers. Hmm...

I was just looking for something different. The cubby holes carpet is really bad wrinkling the wall carpet is sticking up or like you said seems to creep. The rest of the carpet just needs to be replaced. I have thought about covering the back in a black vinyl then run into the possibility of it fading. I really don't use the hatch area often except to go to car shows to haul my stuff and then to hold the targa top. Thanks for your response though.

Not much into the wood thing. I passed over 3 C4's before I bought my 84 that were in great condition because of the wood or faux wood in the interior. Thanks
