The offset is definitely different so I haven't seen any direct bolt on applications. Certainly nothing deep dish. I'm sure spacers can be used if needed, however I really think the OEM C8 wheels are the weakest link in the design. The best C8's I've seen all have after-market wheels...
My understanding is that the c8 wheels have a larger hub bore, and the c8 uses m14x1.5 wheel studs which are larger than the m12x1.5 studs the c5 uses...
Those two things threw me off a set locally that the seller was willing to let go for $400
Interesting
So, OP wants to know if C8 wheels "could" fit.
In a relative post, USAZR1 posted some photos. Highly unlikely they're photoshoped. You would then assume (because C8 owner has shown C7 wheels mounted on his car also on CF) by using an adapter with quite large offset on the rears yeah, looks like it's do able.

C8 wheels have a smaller hub bore, 66.9mm vs 70.3mm. Front wheels are 19x8.5 with +52 offset and rears are 20x11 with +64 offset. With those specs, no spacers should be needed.
A professional wheel/machine shop should be able to safely machine the wheel center to allow the difference done properly 66.9 > 70.3 mm
FWIW; I think that wheel looks quite visually appealing, personally can't say a 20" is what I'd go for and not for the wheel but because the tire ends up too short for my lowered daily driver in our pothole ridden/sunken bridge seamed area. Would look cool though.
