Center AC vent question
I’ve had a vibration from the center vent for years and I can’t take it any more. 🤨 there appears to be a a black plastic nut on the right side but I don’t recall if there was ever one on the left side. I’ve looked at Zip as well as other sites, while I can find the grill I don’t see anything for these nuts. Is there supposed to be one on the left side?

Are you asking about the defroster grate on the top of the dash or the vent with the hazard switch?
The defroster grate is just pressed in. Depending on year and options on you car there could be 2 sensors mounted in it. One is for the HVAC Sun Load sensor and the other for Twilight Sentinel.
Over time this grate gets brittle and will not sit in the dash properly.
