Plug connection ?
I had the front fascia off my C5 Vette and obviously unplugged everything, and thought i everything all plugged back in, obviously I didn't or maybe I did and this one fell out again,. I'm sure I had it plugged in but now it's dangling, obviously I didn't have it plugged in and I'm really not sure where it plugs into I think it's something to do with the temperature sensor but can't be sure on that. It's on the right hand side which would be the passenger side just buy the radiator drain plug, comes out of the wiring harness and it's just hanging there. Any thoughts on this of where it goes would be appreciated.

If it is down low on the passenger side, most likely the outside air temp sensor. Don't recall seeing anything else in that area when I had my C5s.

thanks Jack, i was pretty sure it was. Trying to find the sensor to plug it in , again. It can t be too far away.
