Default Borla exhaust alignment

I've driven the car a few times since putting on the new Borla Stingers, the driver's side keeps tipping over and making the 2 left tips crooked and too high.

I loosen clamp, shove it around to adjust tighten clamp start car it's fine.

Go for a drive, and always give it WOT when it's fully warmed up, come back, it's crooked again.

Should I be trying to adjust the pipe that bolts the H pipe?

Think it's been readjusted 5 times now at the clamp.

Are you using an impact wrench to tighten the clamps? Are the clamps at the end of their clamping circumference? Maybe find a good muffler shop and have a small tack weld put in place. Good luck. Many aftermarket systems have similar issues.

No just ratchet, trying not to strip it, and clamp is on near the end of muffler pipe.

I had trouble getting the muffler part to slip over the other pipe and it felt like it didn't engage as much as the passenger side.

Maybe need to take it back off and try again?

I would loosen all the joints from the x or h pipe and line it up and then tighten it up again.
My Borla axle back system moved on me after installation and I did just that and it's never moved again.
Good luck!

Similar kept happening to me with my Corsa Tiger Sharks. Finally had them tack welded and not a problem since.

Please for the love of god don't tack weld your exhaust adjustment points. If I buy one more used exhaust that's been tack welded, I'm gonna lose it LOL.

Adjust it and crank those bolts down good. You're probably not getting them tight enough, they can take some muscle.

I've ground the tack welds off of both the MBRP exhaust on my daily and the Corsa exhaust on my C5, adjusted them, gave the clamps some ugga duggas and neither have moved with plenty of happy miles.
