Default Front Camera Placement

Looking for recommendation for placement of a front camera. Already figured out where the rear camera will go.
Would like the front to help with parking and pulling into spaces. Would really like mot to drill into the front plate are.
Was thinking possibly in the vent area. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. HOWEVER if you're going to
post on here about how using camera's isn't driving yada, yada. Please don't. Read and scan to the next one. I post
on here looking for help and ideas. Not to be put down like others have been. Thanks.

In the middle of the front nose underneath there’s a slot. I bought a camera that fit in there. I removed the screws from the black plastic shroud there ti make it easier to run my wires. I ran them back to the side under the battery and through the firewall. All in all a pretty easy task.

here’s a link to the camera I bought off Amazon. Their customer service was awesome!

https://amzn.to/3qAnCf6

you can attach with the wire nut and double sided tape. When pulling through the firewall take your time. If you encounter resistance try again don’t force it!

Here's my camera.
Put it in so it's easy to replace if it fails in 2 years.
The other thing above it is my center AL laser jammer module

I use the one that attaches to the rear view mirror works great, but may not meet your demands.
no cutting no drilling.7

You should re-read the first post more carefully. That's not what the guy is talking about...

I'm relaxed... The guys said, "Would like the front to help with parking and pulling into spaces". A rear view mirror mounted camera will not help him at all and only add confusion.

Funny thing... I mounted a front camera several years back now and RARELY use it. By the time I think about turning it on, I'm already in the space...

Mine is mounted on the license place cover; clearly NOT what you want.

A Curb Alert might do better since you don't have to turn on a camera.

I have the Corvette Creationz ZR1 front bumper so my placement is a little different that yours would be.
I will say, though, that I 99.9% of the time I remember to flip it on, and I really like knowing "what's there". Mine is set up through a Kenwood stereo and can be turned on at any time by pushing one button.
As Clancy209 said, you can get a front/rear combo camera that will mount to, and typically play through the rear-view mirror but I don't think that would effectively show you the C5s front end position relative to the curb.

If you just want it for parking, this may be a better solution.

That's what I'm looking at. The Kenwood head unit and front and rear camera.

I went to my parents garage where I keep it for the winter and took a picture today so you can see where I meant, there's no drilling, no modifying so you can remove it any time!

I put the curb alert to the left of the camera in this image, but you can't see it, I put it near the metal scratch bars or whatever they are called.

The flash really highlights the scratches which is the reason for the curb alert and camera! I'll be polishing that out this summer!

so the camera is mounted right in front of the center air dam. I was worried going over bumps and into drives it would get snapped off. That is something g to consider. Thanks.

I hope you understand a camera mounted on the rear view mirror faces forward when turned on
