Default LED Headlights

Want to add LED headlights; low & high beams; to my car... I drive a lot at night. Anyway, I read you need to put resistors inline to make the lights fold down property, will these work?

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01L7W2NW2/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fabc_ZWHYEQ02W36HH9SK

Thanks in advance!

Drop in LEDs are garbage. You're scattering light everywhere all over the road.

But yes, those resistors will work.

I knew I liked you. No one else here will agree with us, but you’re 100% right. All the foreground light =/= better lighting performance.

I'm a former Masshole, too. North Shore. lol

I went through so much headlight crap with this car. It had fixed lights (ew) when I bought it. Then I bought some factory assemblies from FB Marketplace - drove 3 hours to get a complete set for $200. Couldn't pass it up. Currently have a set of HIRs from Daniel Stern Lighting and they're the best they've been. Need to replace/free up a frozen adjuster on the passenger side though - it's way too low. Still miles better than the drop-in LEDs that were in the lights when I got them.

My LEDs I bought on Amazon are great. I can see much better at night, I do not blind oncoming drivers and I do not irritate drivers when I am behind them. I know because I had my wife drive the Corvette after the lights were installed. Coning at me the lights were not glaring or bothersome. With her following me they did not bother me. On the Corvette caravan I asked other Corvette drivers if my lights bothered them at night. They all said "NO"

I ran drop in LEDs for awhile, but ACA style headlights from Sharp Light Innovation are MUCH better. If you do a lot of night driving, it's definitely worth the investment.

Glad you're in Florida now! I'm 25 miles N. of Tampa, in Hudson.

I bought these for the high beam and previous owner had already installed same brand for the low beam.
