Headlight Bulbs
Ok, I've done so much research and reviewing of headlight bulbs that my head is spinning.
Obviously, I am looking to upgrade my bulbs/look from the dingy yellow (my favourite colour, but not in a light) to a white light (5000k or so) as well as improving performance.
I do not wish to change to the expensive and complete housing look...even though they are nice, but totally out of my budget.
Can LED be used for high beams and Halogen/HIR be used for low beams as a mixed setup?
Correct me if I am wrong, but LEDs in a non-projected lens will possibly be bothersome for oncoming traffic, hence why I'm looking to stay away for the low beams. High beams really doesn't matter as they are turned off once approaching other traffic.
Also, I've been told from a Kia dealer when asked about installing LED bulbs in my "has not yet caught fire" Kia Sportage, that they do not recommend (in this vehicle at least) such an install due to wiring issues that they have seen. Haven't seen any complaints of such on the Corvette forums.

I've had LED's in both low and high and had several people give me feedback when passing if I am blinding them and all say no. This is what I purchased for the high beams. The lows were the same light but in 9006. they made my night driving hugely improved and I drive quite a bit of night.
