Default Vette splash guards?

Where can i find these at that look like these? Only ones i found are some but they look more like mudflaps for trucks lol and the ones i do want are for c6 and i doubt they’ll fit a c5 or maybe they will. I saw a pic of a c5 with them on but not sure if they are the c6 or made for c5s

Check out APIS. I have those on my Vette and love them. They look like they should have been mfg, with them, A bit pricey but the quality is great and APIS' customer service is excellent.

I had the complete and total opposite experience.

If you don't have a wide body, you can get GM "fender guards" which are more subtle.

Apsis are nice ones. I have the front ones on and just waiting weather to warm up plus thinking how to install rear. Just wondering if anybody that installed the rear ones. Did you screw them in or 3m tape them. Any suggestions. Thanks

I used the 3m heavy duty tape but also use a screw in the bottom and a second at the top of the guard.

So you didn't use the top screw. Its really close to the outside edge. So did you install middle then bottom screw. I put tape on marking the holes but didn't like the top. Going to drill a small starter hole. When you put 3m on. Did you put it on splash guard or on body first.

As C5 said use the bottom and the middle hole ( if it lines up). I made the mistake of using the top one on the passenger side and its outside the fender well lip. on the drivers side i used 3M molding tape and after holding it in place with some painters tape for 5 days the carbon moved and sticks just fine. You also just screw these straight into the fiberglass, so be very very sure where it goes and test fit a lot with tape. The fronts for me where easy, did not even need to top hole that you drill into.

Hi
On my fronts I didnt use the screw. I bought these clamps that they use to install body panels to hold them. I was going to use them on rear but they dont fit as good. I'm still going to try to use them. I really dont like screwing things in. I also never used 3m tape before. Thats why I was asking were to put 3m on guards or body
Thanks

I installed the APSIS guards probably at least 10 years ago (3M tape and screws) - still going strong.

Also applied XPEL Black Universal Rocker Panel Guard to the surfaces facing the tires - otherwise they will get pelted to a pulp!

APSIS makes them (or at least did) or you can take the OEM C6 Z06 splash guards and modify them to fit. Here is a file that shows how to do that:

Thanks

I applied the tape to the guard so i could build it up to make as much contact as possible.

I had to instsll all 3 screws. The fit wasn't that good and 3m tape would not hold. I tried but there was nothing I could do. I cleaned surface, taped and heat up surface that was 3m. At least I have no gaps and they will be staying there. Thanks for all the suggestion and help

The XPEL Black Universal Rocker Panel Guard. How much did you cover on surface facing tires. What size did you use. Thanks

This is what I purchased (not cheap!):
Amazon Amazon

I covered the ENTIRE surface facing the tires. If you do this it is best to do it day-one before they start getting pitted with gravel! The ones I got from APSIS are "hard" material, they "may" have changed to a more flexible resilient material in recent years? The XPEL is almost like a Rhino Liner, it has taken a beating and still looks new - rocks just bounce off.
