Best of luck to you in getting it restored to original.
Thankfully not a flood car.

In case you’re interested I have a set of brand new Shale floor mats for sale. They are Lloyds Ultimats.
Hey Sean car has like 131k on it. I'll keep those mats in mind if I get to that point and need em' Thanks.
Car was dropped off at Texas Street and Performance of Dallas today. She's in good hands as this is the same shop that has done a ton of work on my C5Z. Hopefully we get the laundry list in the next day or two and start prioritizing the work that needs to be done. Appointment also set for May 11th at Harper's Auto Grooming to work some magic on the interior.
Car is finally making it's way back from the shop on Friday.
Fixed/replaced:
A/C
Shocks
Fuel gauge
O2 sensors
Power Steering pump
Belts
Exhaust put back on (PO had removed the axleback because he liked the sound )
Fenderliners installed
tune- PO messed with or had someone who didn't know what the hell they were doing mess with the tune
Inspection
Still need to knock out brakes/rotors which my wife and I will just take care of ourselves. Car is going to need a transmission rebuild as well since reverse is on its way out and 1st and 2nd gear syncros are starting to act up a little. Rescheduling detail, hopefully the detail shop can get her car in fairly soon. Danielle(wife) is super stocked to get her car back finally. Should for the most part be a vastly different drive home for her.
PO thought gold valve covers would look good. Then left them on the car to paint them.
What is on the Bose speaker grill? looks like rust. My 99 has some similar but not as bad. i'm curious.

That's a great question as I would like to know myself to be honest. I tried using a magic eraser to clean it off, but it didn't help.
I was able to get some scuff marks removed though on the plastic with the eraser. Also did another wash and vacuumed out the interior. Interestingly enough, I did a shifter adjustment and it seems to have fixed the issue, *fingers crossed*. I could definitely tell the PO had been in there before as well. The washers on the nuts for the adjustment had been moved. Pic after the adjustment getting it put back together.
Need to resolve the EBCM issue, it's now throwing a PO856 code. Looks like it's off to absfixer or similar.
