sun visor mirror

Hi,

The passenger side sun visor mirror is unattached so when you bring down the sun visor the mirror drops if you don’t use your hands to hold it. What pieces is it missing?

If you do a search on sun visor repair you'll find a couple of pages where people have done complete disassemblies to refurbish the carboard and fabric. The mirror is originally held in with small molded plastic posts that were melted over on assembly, kind of a thermal formed plastic rivet. Your rivet heads appear to have broken off inside the visor. Don't believe I've read a good method for reworking those. The cardboard, yes, even the centerboard and rod, but not the mirror posts.

Why don't you tack it with RTV to hold in place so it won't fall!
