I took him to the Rolex-24 a couple of years ago & that’s all it took, another one hooked like the rest of us. Now he’s like dad, let me to the hard stuff you figure out how to make it all work... We’re already planning a project for him now. He like the Enzo Ferrari, and we figured the wheelbase is exactly the same as the C5.... Um.....🤔 I got an idea son...

Upper & Lower attach angles are welded, pilot drilled for tub install. What a project just getting these correct....

Finally I’ve begun drilling up tub. It’s taken me a few weeks getting everything set correctly & square. Floor pan is 3.5” ground clearance. I’m drilling everything close-tolerance #10. Now that the main tub is located, everything will drive of it! YES! Finally!!!

Pulled & removed all the casting flash off both cradles, front I needed done for toe-board fitment. When I removed the rear cradle I found some more crappy work around a few things that I’ll have to clean up/grind before I move on to anything else now...

Here you can see the main-tub mounting with holes reamed .189” & #10 NAS hardware just snugged. I’m checking final shimming as required on the side-rails. I am going to try & cut toe-board tonight at work. I may even cut the engine lower close out that will attach to rear cradle & provide smooth belly from nose to tail.

Here’s a bottom view of the toe-board & doubler, both 2024T3 .080”

Top-view of toe-board.

You can see in this pic how the pedal-box will narrow to 23”.

Now I can trim bodywork & weld-in pedal hangar mount. Then I will fab sides & panel lower attachment.

Re-mounted bodywork to check floor alignment. Now that the toe-board is cut I’ll begin rear close-out under the engine & side tunnels.
ground-clearance is 3.5” now.
