Close! Both 02's. My buddy and I have always liked ws6's and c5z's. I already had the vette so he jumped on the firehawk when he found it. Think its number 500something.
He was originally looking for a ws6. Actually found a pretty clean one but it looked like it had a rear main seal leak. Decided on the firehawk after that. Ha. Flew to AZ to get it and drove her back.
I was helping him look for a ws6 for a while before he got what he got. Was pretty hard. The ones that did pop up were usually a little beat or way too much money. That's with willing to spend 15-25k. I'd tell him that's c5 z06 money but a black trans am is "it" for him.
I've noticed clean c5's getting snapped up recently as well. Guess it's that time of year. Was gonna post a link to a Z I saw on craigs for someone looking to buy in the forum but it was gone when I went to find it. 02 , like 20something thousand miles, $24k.
Very nice cars! I've always liked the Pontiac a lot. I'm also a fan of the Mitsubishi 3000GT. However, none of them quite live up to the Vette IMHO. Thanks for sharing.
This was a couple of different days at work for me, the black Camaro is mine, sold the previous Vette at the time but next car show work day I'm bringing my new toy

1st "American" car for me besides an 89 cherokee i used to have. £#€%ing miss that thing..Last time I was into cars I had a mk3 supra and eventually a twin turbo 300zx. Dad always used to tell me "why don't you just get something with a small block 350". lol
Those vr4s were awesome. The later ones looked pretty crazy too with the huge wings.

Thank you for sharing! Beautiful cars. Im jealous. I don't like how boxed in i feel in the camaro, but I've never been boxed in a zl1. 😆
It was an 02, bought it used in 03, and the Incon went on in 04. Stage 4 in 06.
I maxed out the Firehawk experience and life was good, my car lower left.
Then a sudden divorce and I wanted something different. Got the C5z in 07 hence my join date. Kept it many years, sold it for an ‘09z and many years later it was offered back to me. Sold the ‘09 and got my ‘01z back.
Sits a lot... I’m no longer 26 years old, I’m 41 and times are slower, I’m glad the car is still around, I’d like to find my Firehawk 02 #608 and restore if needed.
Winter time, notice the heater. Been parked there since.
Always tempted to sell for another machinegun but never do. Glad to have it.
As a side note, a friend of mine still has his WS6 and put some wheel spacers in the back, helped the car look a little meaner. Might mention it to your friend.
I had the 99 Camaro SS, and a buddy had the WS6 back in the day,
It made me chuckle when I heard someone say the SS looks like it might come over and whoop some ***, but that WS6 definitely is.

The looks could be polarizing. I always thought they looked mean. I remember the commercials from when i was a kid. Ha
