I know are many threads out there on this subject, but sometimes searching for a specific question can take awhile to find. I have a base C5 Vette. I am looking at getting some new wheels, American Racing VF497 in particular and I would like to go with 19/20’s and get the most aggressive look as possible with out lowering or doing any suspension work. I want to fill those wheel wells as much as possible. Any suggestions will be appreciated. I have been looking on Carid and these are the dimensions they suggest, which are probably very conservative.
19" DIAMETER (19" x 9")front
[-38 to +51 Offsets, 5x100-127 Bolt Pattern, 72.6-90mm Hub]
20" DIAMETER (20" x 10.5")rear
[-44 to +70 Offsets, 5x100-127 Bolt Pattern, 72.6-90mm Hub]
Michelin Pilot Sport 4S
front-255/35ZR19 96
rear-295/30ZR20 101

If you want to go a little bigger, I would suggest a 19x10 front w/+57 offset and a 20x10.5 w/+54 offset. As for tires, go with a 275/30/19 front (26" tall) and 305/30/20 rear (27.2" tall)
If you still want the narrower 19x9 fronts, I would probably go with a +50 offset. With that narrower front wheel, either a 255/35/19 @ 26.1" tall or 265/35/19 @ 26.3" will work fine.
