Default Corvette Mods vs eBay

I have been spending a lot of money with Corvettemods seemed to be my new go to Corvette parts supplier but........
They say they have a price match guarantee but I've learned different. Even though they advertise and may sell on eBay, they won't match another eBay sellers price. I was looking at a black Hurst shifter ball for the Z06 and Corvettemods had it for $80. A reputable seller on eBay with over 300k sales and a 99.4% positive feedback, has the same shifter for $65 with free shipping. Corvette mods did not match. I know it's only $15, but it begins to add up. Just an observation. Do your shopping guys. The Corvette tax is true.

Yeah I wouldn't give Corvette Mods my last dollar even if it was for a bottle of water in the Sahara desert.

They don't seem to be banned. Every time I come to the forum, there's a big ad for them. Must of bought their way back on. I hope they don't screw me. I have $250 worth of leather goods coming.

Corvette Mods probably has the worst reputation on this forum. Along with their other company Modern Gen Auto. Many, many, complaints. They are not a CF approved vendor for this reason. I agree with rjacobs and am really surprised that you haven't gotten the shaft with all that you have ordered. Stay away for eventually you'll get it.

If you're seeing corvette mods ads, they aren't through the forum. Maybe it's a pop up add from google.

No you don't...you paid them $250.00 for nothing. Check the transaction forum. Corvette mods is a HUGE scam. They take your money and never send you anything. If by some miracle you do receive a product from them, it will not work properly and will take a VERY long time to arrive. You will not be able to contact their customer service, and they will not accept exchanges or returns. Hopefully, you used paypal and can get your money back.

All I need to say is read over the extensive number of threads on that vendor that have been posted in the Transactions Feedback section. If you then decide to proceed with a purchase from them, you do so at your own financial risk. They are not a forum sponsored vendor and as pewter99 stated, they were dropped as such for a reason.

Do your homework when looking to use a vendor - members here are not shy about posting their financial transaction experience with vendors, both good and bad. That is why the Transactions Feedback section was created. Using the search function will get you results.

No sense in another thread like this to go on when it is well documented the problems that has arisen with the vendor in the past. Closing this one down.
