I had a lighting strike that went through my battery tender and knocked out my EBCM module that controls my traction control and ABS systems. Does anybody know where I can get an EBCM module or a rebuilt one?
It depends on the year. The earlier model EBCM is no longer available. The only options are used ones that are VERY expensive. Later models are still available for now.
My C-5 is a 2003. I have heard that the later C-5's use a different module. I am trying to locate a new module, used or rebuilt. Any help is appreciated.
Thank you for your comments. I don't know if it was throwing codes or not. I took it took a Corvette performance shop and he was able to diagnose it. The problem he said was that getting the replacement module was in short supply and very difficult to get. He said I needed a late C-5 module ('03 or '04) because the earlier years were different. I will try and contact absfixer and see what they have to say. Thank you so much for responding.

If by chance your EBCM is toast and can't be repaired, you could try one of the used parts vendors (Vettenuts or aescorvetteparts) to see if they have one that matches up.
I sent my ECBM Module off to ABS fixer and they confirmed that the board had been struck by lighting and could not be refurbished. He did not have another board to swap out. Therefore I am looking for a refurbished EBCM Module or the electronic board. Does anybody know where I can get a module or a board?
Like that, eh? Wasn't trying to be an ***, but incorrect abbreviation terminology bothers me!! Like guys saying their 'PVC' valve is bad. Uh, NO-It's PCV, as in Positive Crankcase Ventilation, not PLUMBING!!!! And no, I'm not a teacher, and I hated English. But there's no excuse for some of what I'm seeing nowadays.....

No C5 ebcm is currently made.
They’re all obsolete. Knowing this I bought a new spare for my ‘01 years ago for a deal.
Look at prices, if you want a spare the time (barely) is now otherwise ‘01-04 will be just like 97-00 pretty quick. Abs fixer is only for a few limited codes.

Yes!... Well I don't Hate the English but their F1 broadcasters "ability to speak" the English language.. and have me understanding what they are saying might be addressed with a little more thoughtfulness and effort! Especially! Watching ESPN coverage of F1 on the "telly" and attempting to decipher what the hell they're mumbling about... Every fifth word is a hint to the ramifications of the last sentence uttered or sputtered... By the time I've Have deciphered that last mumble, the racecar has motated two corners downtrack!... Land sakes, it's macaroni... I'm Sorry, I digress. 🙄
