Corsa vs. Borla
Much better technology these days than to run a simple glass pack. But sound is always subjective so it doesn't matter. Run what you like to hear!

I'm just carrying on. But I DO like the Borla sound over the Corsa. "rev up yer engines!"
Another factor that will make a difference in the sound is heads, cam, headers, x-pipe and cats.
I’ve had, of course my OEM Ti’s, GHL, B&B bullets and PRT’s, and Borla ATAK.
IMHO, the B&B bullets sounded best, but the drone is significant and they were the loudest inside and outside of the car, all of the time.
I’ve owned 3 sets of bullets over the 7 years I’ve had the car. If all I did was show it, they would be fine, but even just pleasure driving it with them full time does get old sometimes.
The Borla ATAK is a great sound with zero drone, but doesn’t sound quite as good as the bullets do outside. It’s the best trade off for me so far.
I recently sold my last set if bullets to free up some $$$, but I may buy another set down the road and keep my ATAK so I can swap back and forth when I want. I got more compliments on the sound of my car with bullets than any of the others.
I like a deep muscle car sound and to me all of the Corsa’s I’ve heard have a tinny more exotic sound, but sound is so subjective from one person to the next. Like Vetteman Jack said, you really need to hear them and choose for yourself what you like.
I’ll vote Borla because it’s my favorite trade off overall.
No drone with the windows UP, but it is not a quiet exhaust note when windows are down. Also it's not the easiest thing to "sneak around" with. At 4K rpm it's like the sound flood gates open and it is such a high pitches scream of a sound.
My mid mount muffler idea didn't pan out well and made the car WAY too tame. So next is to add some simple resonators to slightly kick town the tone. I also have to meet sound limits for racing, so I may've to remove the Corsa all together...for something like Borla S type 2 or Touring or Stainless Works chambers system.

An auto trans doesn’t help in the mitigation of drone. You can control the rpm’s more easily by shifting above or below the “drone zone” with a manual.
I like the sound of Borla Stingers, but not the drone that comes with them. A friend of mine had them on her 02 Z06.
In my experience it is a trade off. My favorite sounding axleback so far is the B&B bullets, but they drone and it does get old at times.
My car is a pleasure driver only. If I was daily driving it, I wouldn’t even consider an axleback that was known to drone. I would either go with whatever sound level I liked most of the 3 newest drone free systems Borla offers.
I choose ATAK because it’s the most aggressive of the 3. It doesn’t sound quite as good as bullets, but it’s the best I’ve found for my liking that has zero drone.
Another thing to consider is neighborhood friendliness. I live in the country, but am still conscious of my neighbors. You can’t really sneak out of your neighborhood at 04:00 A.M. with bullets, but with my ATAK I can mostly idle until I get to the highway, without waking up every person and dog on my road.
