I need to replace my vert windshield and understand that both the weatherstrip windshield seal and side revel moldings are required when replacing a C5 windshield. I can find the revel moldings, but not the weatherstrip. I contacted Corvette Rubber Company and they are working on production of one, but it won't be available until late fall.
Anybody had to replace a weatherstrip lately and found it?
By the way as many know, the windshield is GM discontinued and aftermarket only now. Pilkington and PPG (and Safelite maybe?) both make one for the C5, but I'm not sure they have the thinner vert and Z06 windshield, or just the one fits all.
The best advice for right now is that if you are VERY careful when removing the current weather stripping, it can be reused. You can then replace it in late fall if Corvette rubber ever gets their part into production.
Goodness!.... Me too.. So many ghost stories I've heard concerning the vert windshield replacement. 🤔... Eighteen wheeler kicking a stone up left a star smack dab in sight line ... now a 6 inch crack appeared after a unsuccessful fill by a "windshield repair shop" ... Now what? Will the windshield shatter? How does one fix this problem? Sorry for the hijacking.
Part number, 10299765, is still available. Go-to www.gmpartscenter.net. This is an actual Chevrolet Dealer operating an on-line parts ordering operation.

10299765 is the bottom seal, not the windshield weatherstrip, which is 10333466. Now I'm having issues finding a windshield. PGW was bought out? and Pilkington doesn't have any in stock, something about a glass shortage? Maybe now is not a good time to replace a C5 windshield?

Oops, my mistake. I see that the item in question, is no longer itemized/listed, just illustrated. For some reason, I thought that the original poster was referring to the top seal. Sorry for any confusion.
