After almost 2 months, I've given up on finding 305 rears. Got in touch with the tire place I've been calling for weeks to let them know I'll settle for the stock rear z06 size. I've seen a lot of praise for the ps2's so I asked if he could get the sizes I need. They should be around by the end of next week AND he matched the price of the rears to the nittos I've been waiting on while also getting the fronts a little lower. I think the total is only around 1400 bucks. Good deal? Im stoked.
While I have not had experience with the Michelin PS2s, I've had a lot of experience with Michelin tires. Hell, my first tires were Michelins on a 1977 Olds Delta 88 with a 403 4 barrel. I currently run Michelin Pilot Super Sports on both my 02 Corvette and my 91 Eagle Talon TsiAWD. Best street tires I've ever owned as they grip like crazy good. Unfortunately, I don't think they make that style anymore. Still, when it comes to tire replacement (which is overdue to age) I'm going with Michelins.
You will enjoy them
Actually changed my mind last second! After seeing wydopnthrtl's post with the nitto g2's I decided to go that route. Here's hoping the rears don't rub.. Pretty sure I'm at stock ride height. Really appreciated how much they got the price down on the michelins but saving another 400 bucks should be nice.
